Questions
What finance teams ask us.
- Which data can I ask about?
- ERP, CRM, spreadsheets and CSV files, plus figures from Corteal Read and approved figures from Corteal Verify. You choose what is in scope. Connectors are agreed in the pilot.
- How do I know a number is right?
- Every number links to the query that produced it and the rows behind it. Where Verify has an approved definition, Analyze uses it and says so.
- Can it be wrong?
- Yes. It can misread a question or pick the wrong table, so the query and rows are one click away and it asks when a question is ambiguous. We have no accuracy figure to quote yet. The pilot measures it on your questions.
- What if two teams define a metric differently?
- Analyze shows both and waits. A person approves the official definition in Verify, and every later answer uses it.
- Does it change anything in our systems?
- No. Analyze only reads. A suggestion you want to act on goes to Corteal Run as a proposed action that a person approves.
- Are the optimisations guaranteed?
- No. They are estimates from your own data, with the assumptions shown. A person decides.
- Where does the data live?
- Inside your environment: EU hosting or on-premise, as you choose.
- What does early access mean?
- We are building Analyze with a small first group. Scope and connectors are set together, and we have no customer results to show yet. Ask us for the current terms.
